Call for Participation: 16th GI/ITG Conference on Measurement, Modeling, and Evaluation of Computer Systems and Dependability and Fault Tolerance (MMB&DFT 2012)

The technical committees MMB and DFT are the main fora in Germany covering all aspects of performance and dependability evaluation of systems including networks, computer architectures, distributed systems, software, fault-tolerant and secure systems. In 2012 both committees join forces again in a common conference. The conference language is English.

This year's MMB/DFT conference includes:

• two keynote talks by Anja Feldmann (T-Labs / T-Labs) and Lothar Thiele (ETH Zurich)
• the main conference track (16 papers)
• an industrial session with invited experts
• tool demonstrations
• three workshops focusing on special topics
  • Workshop on Modeling and Analysis of Complex Reaction Networks
  • Workshop on Network Calculus
  • Workshop on Physically-augmented Security for Wireless Networks
• two tutorials
  • Simulation of Vehicular Communications: Principles and Challenges
  • Data Analysis of Measurements Governed by Immanent Dependences and Heavy-Tailed Distributions
